2019 Cinco de Mayo

This 35th annual Cinco de Mayo celebration in Portland is sure to be memorable for the family. This festival lasts three days, so there's plenty of opportunity to come out and celebrate. They're expecting over 70,000 guests over the course of the three days, so it is sure to be a busy and fun festival to attend.

Portland Science FEST 2019

This is a fantastic way to get the family interested in science. There are going to be some great activities like nitrogen ice cram demonstrations, coding boot camps, workshops, robotics competitions, and more. There will be vendors selling unique goods, as well. Children under six get free admission, and it is $5 for students, $7 for adults.

Kids Craft and Play Festival

Come down to the Wiggle Room for a fiesta themed craft and play festival! The ticket includes the materials needed to make pinatas, two hours inside of the indoor play space, snacks and refreshments, a swag bag, and the chance to win craft subscriptions for the kids. Adults are free, tickets are $15 per child and the profits goes toward benefiting Portland children in foster care.

Writing and Nature Summer Camp

This is an educational way to get outdoors with the family. This event includes a story circle and a workshop that teaches how to write a great story. There will also be other activities and games in the outdoor park. It will build their confidence as a writer and simultaneously increase their awareness of nature.
