From the first time I met Maddie, I knew she was someone I would like to hang out with. She has one of those quiet, confident personalities that I totally admire and respect. Maddie is independent, determined and very funny. She loves being social in all areas of her life and has recently loved spending time with her brand new Golden Retriever puppy. Maddie somehow balances working at a very busy Sports collectors shop downtown, going to school, hanging out with friends, maintaining an active social life and participating in sports. That’s not easy for most people, but Maddie does knows how to get things done and does it well.

Maddie loves cooking and baking and trying out new recipes. She is very aware of how food can affect you and is careful about what foods she puts into her body to make her feel good both physically and mentally. Maddie is a social butterfly who can make people feel comfortable around her with her chatter and jokes. She’s very comfortable in front of the camera which makes my job so easy because she is so photogenic. I mean, look at all that hair!! Every photographer’s dream. :)

Let me introduce Madison Lowry, senior from Westview High School graduating in 2022:

Maddie loves playing volleyball both on the court and on the sand. But if she’s not found there, she’s out shopping and creating different fashion looks. She has a very girly style and loves wearing lots of dresses and skirts, but also isn’t afraid to add some edge with leather or boots.

Maddie is a very determined girl, when she decides she wants something, she makes it happen. She has been saving for years for a 3 week long service trip to Fiji after graduation. She’s excited to go help clean up the ocean and beaches, and help feed the community and teach English to the kids there. In the meantime, she enjoys going to summer camps and helping the younger kids learn new skills and tricks and laughing and joking with them. She hopes to take her love of helping people and sports and make it a career in Sports Medicine and hopefully end up working for a Professional Sports team.
