Meet Rep Team 2021 Senior: Sophia

Covid changed so many of my rep team plans this year but fortunately, as humans are apt to do, we adapted and made the best of things. I have been so impressed over the months of doing senior photos how very positive and upbeat the seniors have been—despite their senior year being underwhelming and sports being canceled and the world literally and figuratively on fire—kids are all so resilient, brave and positive. Such great lessons to be learned from the rising generation as I have been less resilient, brave and positive!

Sophia is a perfect example of all of this. She is an absolute light to be around with an easy smile, a cheerful disposition and an eagerness to have fun and make the most of every situation that comes up. She genuinely cares about others and is someone who enjoys adventure but also cares about the people around her.

At her shoot, we got the very best sunset I think I have ever seen in my life at the top of St. John’s Bridge. It really was a stunning sight and perfectly represented the beauty, hope, and joy I see inside and out of Sophia Marcantuono.

**(If you know Sophia be sure and leave a comment below telling her something you admire about her, a favorite memory, wish her well or give her a helpful piece of advice for her future. This blog post will stay live forever, so she can always have this post to look back on).**

Let me introduce Sophia Marcantuono, senior from Westview graduating in 2021:

Sophia is an outdoorsy, adventurous, and hardworking person. She loves traveling, hiking, sports, exercise, and pretty much anything you can do outside. She wants to go to med school, and achieve her goal of being a nurse. Sophia is a caring, selfless person who often and willingly puts others before herself. She has big hopes and dreams and is really strong in her faith. She describes herself as a lover of the outdoors, a stargazer, and a strong Catholic. It has been a joy and a pleasure getting to know her a little better this year.

Sophia has one dog named Ruby and has a life dream of seeing the northern lights.

Sophia volunteers at a program called Night Strike where they provide food haircuts, books, painting nails, foot washing, and more for the homeless.

Sophia has so much going for her life and I know she will succeed in anything and everything she wishes to pursue.
